Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Limited is seeking to engage experienced candidates for professional roles.

NLNG is a liquefied natural gas (LNG)-producing company and an LNG plant on Bonny Island, Nigeria.

On its website on Thursday, the company said it is looking to employ experienced professionals in finance and finance systems, legal, engineering, projects, production, health, safety, security and environment (HSSE), planning, supply chain and logistics, IMT (Information Technology), security, shipping, and marine.

It said candidates are to provide mandatory documents to their applications, adding that all attachments must be sent online in PDF format and must not be duplicated.

The documents include: an NYSC completion certificate or exemption certificate, university degree certificate/ tertiary institution certificate specified for the role, professional certificate(s) stated in the job description of the role,  government-issued birth certificate, copy of secondary education certificate, copy of primary education certificate or testimonial, curriculum vitae (not more than two pages).

“Applications must be completed online and should not be duplicated. Anyone who submits more than one application will be disqualified,” NLNG said.

“Please review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all information provided on your application form before you submit. Any false information provided during or after the application process will lead to outright disqualification.

“For the best user experience, please make use of laptops and desktops, not mobile phones.”

NLNG also said eligible females and people with disabilities (PWDs) are encouraged to apply.

“Candidates who require reasonable adjustment during the recruitment — by reason of disability — are directed to inform the company,” it added

A reasonable adjustment is a change that must be made to remove or reduce a disadvantage related to a job applicant’s disability as well as an employee’s disability when doing their job.

The company also noted that after applying through the NLNG portal, candidates who fall in the category are to send an email titled “reasonable adjustment” to [email protected].

According to NLNG, the application is free of charge, and agents are not assigned to assist applicants in processing exercise.

It said the application window opened on December 15, 2022, and would close on January 5, 2023.

“Only successful candidates at each stage of the exercise will be contacted,” the company said.

“To avoid exposure to dubious/fraudulent websites/links, kindly apply only via www.nigerialng.com.”
