The Nigeria National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited says qualified candidates can now apply for its graduate trainee programme.
The NNPC announced the recruitment opportunity in a post on X on Friday.
The national oil firm said individuals passionate about building a career in the company can visit its website to apply.

The NNPC said graduate trainees are expected to support the implementation of organisational processes, deliver cost-effective business outcomes, support line managers and supervisors to develop and implement strategic work plans across diverse functions and support delivery of project team assignments.
“Applicants must have any of the following minimum qualifications in the under listed disciplines: Bachelors Degree in the First Class/Second Class Upper Division,” the company said.
“HND (Distinction),Bachelors Degree in the Second Class Lower Division with a completed Masters Degree,HND Upper Credit with a completed Masters Degree.

”Have graduated from an accredited university/polytechnic/monotechnic not earlier than 2019.”
The oil firm said candidates must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme, and not be “more than 28 years of age as of 31st December 2024”.
Applicants are also required to possess “good communications, computer, and interpersonal skills”.
According to the NNPC, disciplines required include sciences, engineering, business and management, social sciences, art and humanities, and law.

The organisation also announced application opening for experienced professionals category.
The firm said experienced professionals will be recruited into the supervisory cadre and are expected to provide professional and leadership expertise required to achieve its business objectives.
Qualified candidates, the NNPC said, would help in developing and implementing strategies for operational excellence, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with statutory regulations in the delivery of its business and driving team performance and development.
“Applicants must have qualifications in relevant disciplines from any of the under listed skill pools: Bachelor’s Degree in the First Class/Second Class Upper Division, HND (Distinction),” the national oil firm said.

The NNPC said disciplines required are geosciences, petroleum engineering, well engineering, general engineering, operations engineering, commercial, finance, accounts, audit, taxation and insurance, information technology, legal and security.
The company said the application deadline remains open till August 20, 2024.
