Nimbus Media Limited has called for entries for its aid project to support 10 women-led small, and medium enterprises (SMEs) and pre-seed startups.
According to a statement issued on Thursday, the application began on September 21, and will close on October 5, 2022.
The company said 20 finalists will be selected from the first phase, after the initial call for entries, and 10 winners will be chosen from a public vote that will be announced later.
The selected applicants will benefit from ₦2 million worth of advertising each on Nimbus’s outdoor advertising screens across Nigeria.

Speaking on the advert support, Olawale Adegoke, chief executive officer, Nimbus Media, said the focus is on organisations and businesses providing economic opportunities and jobs this year.
“With the ongoing economic challenges faced by SMEs and startups, it is understandable that they do not have resources for promotional campaigns. As a result, we are collaborating with our partners to help these businesses grow,” he said.
According to Adegoke, each winner will receive ₦2 million worth of advertising on Nimbus boards across the country.

He added that the ‘Nimbus aid project’ 2022 is being executed in collaboration with the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF), TechCabal, and Marketing Edge magazine.
He said together with a group of judges, “these partners will help select deserving beneficiaries who will receive advertising support from Nimbus”.
On her part, Shella Ojie, director, strategy, funding and stakeholder management, LSETF, said the partnership will go a long way to reduce unemployment in the state.
“Partnerships such as this give us the opportunity to support SMEs in Lagos. Giving them visibility on this platform will expand their businesses and increase profitability,” she said.
