The Lobi Stars goalkeeper was instrumental in their victory over Rivers United. He was completely exceptional.

Tyrone Ebuehi (Twente) – Right Back
The defender was energetic. He bombarded the right flank and caused the opposition a lot of problems as well.
William Troost-Ekong (Watford) – Centre Back

The Super Eagles centre back was phenomenal at the heart of the Watford defence. He defended brilliantly and scored. He was among the “silver lining” for the Hornets in the 3-2 win against Coventry.
Leon Balogun (Rangers) – Centre Back
Rock-solid at the back, Balogun put up an inspirational performance as Rangers demolished Hamilton Academical 8-0.
Zaidu Sanusi (FC Porto) – Left Back

Zaidu Sanusi was flying at the left-hand side of the defence for Porto. He had a decent game in the win over Portimonense.
John Obi Mikel (Stoke City) – Centre Midfield
The former Nigeria international was very good at the heart of the Stoke City midfield. The Chelsea legend organised the game and his tackles were perfect.
Joe Aribo (Rangers) – Centre Midfield

Aribo keeps improving day by day. The best Rangers player of the week. He was hardworking, committed and passionate. He notched two goals. Hard to imagine a Rangers team without Aribo.
Okwuchukwu Ezeh (Balikesirspor) – Right Attacking Midfield

Absolutely magnificent. Outpaced the Altay defenders for most of the game. He was brilliant when he attacked and incredible when he defended. He was energetic throughout the game as well as bagged a brace.
Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace) – Centre Attacking Midfield

Eze scored an absolute strike. The player troubled Leeds United and provided an assist. He put up a formidable performance.
Ndifreke Effiong (Akwa United) – Left Attacking Midfield

Magical! Effiong was too much for the Lobi Stars defence to handle. Lightning pace, skilful, agile and beautiful to watch, he notched up a sublime free-kick.
Victor Osimhen (Napoli) – Forward
Amidst some days of pressure, Osimhen came back strong yet again. The striker scored the solitary goal to hand Napoli victory at Bologna.
Kabiru Dogo (Lobi Stars) – Manager
Yet again, Dogo proves a point. An excellent manager who brings something out of nothing for the Pride of Benue. His tactics were spot on against Akwa United.
