Armed men have amputated a herdsman in the southern part of Kaduna state.
Haruna Tugga, Kaduna chairman of Meyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), disclosed this at a news conference on Friday.
He described as a setback to the peace in the area
Tuga identified the victim as Abubakar Muhammed, revealing that he was migrating from Panda village in Nassarawa state to Kachia in southern Kaduna, when he was attacked.

“To be specific, Abubakar Muhammed who was migrating from Panda, Karu local government area of Nassarawa state to Ladduga in Kachia local government area was attacked by youths from Maho village in Mazuga district.
“They attacked him along a migratory stock route for reasons best known to the attackers and cut off his left hand and left him bleeding.
“A good Samaritan took him to a private hospital in Kachia town where he is presently receiving medical attention.”

Tugga called on security agencies to investigate the matter and bring the culprits to justice.
