Army commences shooting exercise in Lagos

The 81 division of the Nigerian army in Lagos on Tuesday commenced its shooting exercise for officers and soldiers.

Isidore Edet, general officer commanding of the division, said the exercise was aimed at improving the proficiency of personnel.

”It is a routine training exercise. This really relates to what the Nigerian army and military are doing in the north-east,” he said.

”We have to teach our troops the basics.”
