Aaron Ramsey tried to beat Yaya Toure on the edge of City’s box, but the Ivorian robbed him of the ball and put a pass through to Sergio Aguero, who out-paced Nacho Monreal and dinked the ball over the onrushing Petr Cech.
Ten minutes later, Oxlade-Chamberlain swung a fantastic cross to Monreal who slotted in Arsenal’s equaliser.
Neither side failed to find a late breakthrough, hence, the game needed additional 30 minutes for a winner to emerge.
