The Abundant Life Gospel Church, Lagos state, says its annual SuperFest conference has been scheduled to hold from Wednesday, August 5 to August 7.
In a statement on Tuesday, Jane Onaolapo, general overseer of the church, said the 2020 conference, with the theme “Addiction”, will be virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
She said leading ministers at the conference include Mathew Ashimolowo, senior pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC); Mike Okonkwo, presiding bishop of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) and David Adeoye.
Onaolapo said the Superfest project started under her late husband, founder and general overseer of the church.

“As usual, leading ministers would speak during the 3-day conference. Confirmed to take the spotlight are regular speakers; the Bishop of TREM, Dr. Mike Okonkwo, Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo, Bishop David Adeoye, Rev. Segun Johnson, Rev. Josiah Onaolapo, Rev. Rotimi Kaleb and the host herself, Rev. (Dr.) Jane Onaolapo.” she said.
“The event will run daily from 9a.m – 11:30a.m (morning sessions) and 6p.m-7p.m for the evening sessions. Each speaker would address a specific subject which points to the theme of the current conference.
“Most of the guest speakers have featured in the past editions of Superfest, and are quite familiar with the traditions of the annual word feast, which holds in August every year.

“This year, because of the Covid-19 restrictions, people can only watch it online, since the event would be virtual, but it really doesn’t matter as the anointing will still flow all the same.”
