Criticism is the disapproval of something or someone based on a perceived fault or mistake.

Perception is an internal interpretation and representation of facts. That description in itself suggests that this is a relative exercise. Perception can therefore be said to be subjective.

I found that people who criticize others all the time and cannot appreciate another except through eyes of criticism are in themselves critical. Nothing or no one will really ever be good enough, not even themselves.
There’s always something wrong with the way it was done, with the way it was said.
Cut yourself some slack! Let that moment pass, just this time. Is there another way to look at it? What are the other options? Maybe you have perceived wrongly, maybe you haven’t. Perhaps there’s a lesson to be learnt. Everyone cannot be wrong all the time. The problem cannot always be with the ‘other’ person.

We should judge others by the same standard with which we judge ourselves right? What if we judge ourselves wrongly? Should others suffer for that too?
Let me ask you these questions; what are the things you like about yourself? What do people who are close to you like or compliment about you?
Extend the same grace to others. Find the good, focus on these things, focus magnifies.
If you’re unhappy with the way you are, who you are. Change comes from within, accept yourself.
