Rotimi Akeredolu, governor of Ondo state, has honoured Work and Play for driving tourism and empowering the youth through autosport.

The governor, who was represented by Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, his deputy, gave an award to the company at the 5th Ondo Auto Rally held in Akure.

Akeredolu said he is delighted with the strides of Adeoye Ojuoko, Work and Play’s president, and his team in turning around tourism in Ondo state through auto racing.

“I feel indebted to the Ondo state government for the constant support it has given my team over the years and we would take this as motivation to increase our footprint in the state,” he said.

Also speaking at the award ceremony, Michael Ade-Ojo, founder of Elizade Group, enjoined youth in the state to explore the racing event for economic empowerment with a view to becoming relevant in the motoring industry.
