The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has advised staff to avoid taking public transport to work as much as possible.
This was contained in a work schedule for staff resumption published on Sunday by Bashir Umar, head of FIRS human capital management department.
According to the schedule, FIRS offices would be open in all states where the lockdown has been eased.
“All FIRS offices nationwide would be open to taxpayers with the exception of states that are under complete lockdown, staff in such states can continue to work from home,” the schedule read.
