Bafana Bafana of South Africa will host the Super Eagles of Nigeria in an international friendly at Mbombela Stadium on March 29.
The venue hosted Nigeria’s first two matches at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) – 1-1 draws against Burkina Faso and Zambia.
Both teams are preparing for the 2017 AFCON and the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The two countries met twice during the qualifiers for the 2015 AFCON last year. The first encounter in Cape Town ended goalless while the 2-2 draw in Uyo meant the Super Eagles failed to qualify for the competition in Equatorial Guinea.

South Africa have recorded only one victory against the Super Eagles – 2-1 win in the Mandela Challenge in November 2004.
Nigeria had planned a friendly with Ghana for March 29 in London, but FIFA called it off because it was against the rule for a team to play friendlies in two continents that will involve more than five hours flying time between the continents.
Nigeria will play Bolivia on March 26 in Uyo before flying out to South Africa.
