Oryiman Kondo, the victim’s brother, told TheCable that the gunmen have demanded N1 million ransom to secure her sister’s release. He said they threatened to kill the victims if the ransoms are not paid within three days.

“They were kidnapped on Tuesday evening and we didn’t know their whereabouts until this morning when she called with a particular number and told us that they have taken them to a place where they can have access to the network so that they can reach out to their relatives for the ransom that they demanded,” Kondo said.

“They demanded a huge amount, but as of this evening, we were able to beat the price down to N1 million. They gave us three days that if the deadline elapsed and the money is not forthcoming, they are going to take them away and they are not going to return them again.”
