Two individuals have been arrested by the Edo police command for robbing Imasogbonre Enahoro, an 89-year-old woman whose mouth they sealed with super glue.
Enahoro and Marylyn Ajibola, her daughter whose mouth was also sealed, were robbed of valuables including a Toyota Camry at their residence in Igueben village near Benin.
The suspects are said to have sealed their mouths so they would be unable to call for help.
Ajibola who said the incident took place at about 5pm was able to identify one of the suspects at the police headquarters. She said the suspect slapped her mother.

Kingsley, one of the suspects, said the stolen car has not been sold.
“When we got to Mama’s place, she had no money to give to us. Two of us were outside and Tosin went inside. We found only N7,200 inside the car,” he said.
“I did not know that this Mama’s mouth was glued because I waited outside. We have not sold the car. Tosin said he wants to use the car but we told him there is no way we can stay with him in Osun state.
