Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Marco Reus celebrated Borussia Dortmund’s first goal in their 3-0 win against Schalke by producing Batman and Robin masks.
Aubameyang put his side ahead in the 78th minute in the Ruhr derby, after last season’s runners-up squandered a lot of chances.
And the Gabon international celebrated by donning a Batman mask with Reus donning another mask of the superhero’s sidekick Robin.
Reus got on the score sheet himself in the 86th after Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored from close range for Dortmund’s second a minute after they took the lead.

“If you didn’t know who Batman and Robin were before, you do now,” Aubameyang said afterwards.
It was Dortmund’s fourth straight Bundesliga win which lifted Jurgen Klopp’s side into 10th spot.
“Four weeks ago we were standing here talking about the relegation battle,” said Reus.

“We’ll take this one game at a time. At the moment things look good but we have tough games ahead and there is still a long way to go.”
Klopp’s team found themselves in unlikely relegation trouble a month ago but after this victory, they are just eight points adrift of the fourth UEFA Champions League qualification spot.
And it was a beaming Klopp who spoke after the derby win.
“I think Aubameyang has now run out of superhero masks,” he said.

“This is what I wished for this morning when I woke up. It was important we did not get nervous. We have to keep up this good run because we are still only five points away from the bottom spots.”
In contrast, Schalke, who could have climbed up to third with victory, are without a win in three league games and stay fifth on the log.
