The Bauchi state government says it will pay the external examination fees for all the students of the Special Education Centre (SEC) who are in SS3.
Jalaludeen Usman, the information officer of the Bauchi ministry of education, said in a statement that the centre for children with special needs provides them with quality education and supports them to thrive.
He said Bala Mohammed, the governor of the state, is committed to improving inclusive education and making sure that every child has access to quality education.
“By covering the external examination fees for the SS3 students of the Special Education Centre, the government is taking a significant step towards removing barriers to education and empowering these students to reach their full potential,” the statement reads.

“This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to equity, diversity and inclusivity in the education sector.
“It is a testament to Bauchi state determination to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all learners, paving the way for a brighter future for the next generation.
