Bayern Munich held on to claim a 4-3 win over Manchester United in their UEFA Champions League (UCL) group match at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday.
The German champions put aside their wobbly form to pile more misery on Erik ten Hag and United in the goals fest.
Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sane put Thomas Tuchel’s side in a comfortable lead at the break and despite Rasmus Højlund’s strike early in the second half, Harry Kane scored from the spot to restore the home side’s two-goal cushion.
Three more goals would come in the last four minutes of the encounter — with Casemiro scoring twice and Mathys Tel’s emphatic strike — as Bayern held on to claim victory.

The win sees Bayern continue a record-extending 14-match winning streak in the UCL group stage and an unbeaten run at home against the Red Devils.
In other matches, Arsenal scored thrice in the first half en route to a 4-0 win over PSV Eindhoven in their first UCL match in six years.
Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Jesus, and Martin Odegaard were on target as the Gunners strolled to an easy win.
