Yahaya Bello, governor of Kogi state, on Sunday sacked all the members of his cabinet, only to subsequently make a turnround.
The governor had directed all the commissioners and local government administrators to hand over necessary documents and government properties to Folasade Ayoade, secretary to the state government.
Petra Onyegbule, chief press secretary to the governor, had said the governor announced the sack during the state executive council meeting held in Lokoja, the state capital, on Sunday.
While the dust raised by the development was yet to settle, Bello recalled the officials.

According to a now-deleted Facebook post by Onyegbule, the governor demanded better performance from the cabinet members.
He was also quoted to have asked them to relate better with the people of the state.
TheCable was unable to confirm the reason for the initial sack and eventual reversal.
