Two of the four Benue police officers who went missing after an attack on a police team have returned to the state command.
Moses Yamu, spokesman of the command, confirmed the development to TheCable on Sunday.
The four officers went missing after suspected herdsmen attacked a police convoy in the state on Saturday.
The attackers, said to be fully armed, had opened fire on the police team while they were returning from an assignment in some villages in Logo local government area of the state.

Yamu said the officers were in “sound” state.
“Two of the men have rejoined their colleagues while the other two are being expected. They are sound” he told TheCable via a text message.
Yamu said no arrest has been made regarding the incident and that investigation is still ongoing.
