Bodex to host social media hangout Dec 7

Bodex Media, a communications agency in Nigeria, will host the fifth edition of its annual social media hangout on December 7.

In a statement on Wednesday, Bodex Hungbo, convener of the event, said this year’s hangout promises “fans, leaders, trendsetters, fashionistas, and celebrities a vibrant day of fun, learning, and excitement.”

Hungbo said the theme of the event is “Social Media: The Influence, Poet, and Impact,” and is set to hold at Landmark Event Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.

She added that Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of Lagos state, alongside other political figures, technocrats, high-profile influencers, celebrities, stakeholders, artists, and other information managers, will attend the event.

Hungbo noted that attendance is free and requires no registration.

“This festival is free to attend and requires no registration, welcoming everyone to join in the celebrations and immerse themselves in an extraordinary day of unforgettable experiences,” she said.

“This year’s edition celebrates the growth and resilience of our community. After six years of dedicated effort – excluding our COVID hiatus – we are thrilled to offer this milestone experience to everyone who has been a part of our journey.”

What to expect

Hungbo said this year’s edition will feature live music and dance performances, a red-carpet extravaganza, games and fun activities, and exclusive gourmet treats provided by Bodex Foods in collaboration with top food and drink vendors.

“This year’s Quintet Festival is set to deliver an unmatched blend of knowledge sharing, networking, awards, and entertainment,” she said.

“With no entry fee or registration required, everyone is welcome to attend, making this an inclusive and accessible celebration for fans and social media enthusiasts across Nigeria.”

The convener added that the hangout will reward attendees and online followers with raffles and giveaways.
