In a tweet celebrating her latest triumph, Bolaji reflected on how 2025 has been “incredibly good” to her.
She added that “disability is not an inability to achieve greatness”.
Bolaji has been winning international para-badminton competitions since she was 16. In 2021, she became the first African athlete to win the Spanish para-badminton championship.
At the 2024 Paralympics, Bolaji won a bronze medal for Nigeria — it was the country’s first laurel at the games.
