Moyosore Onigbanjo, the attorney-general of Lagos state, says the suspect arrested over the killing of Bolanle Raheem, a lawyer, will be charged to court soon.
According to a statement by Gbenga Omotoso, the state’s commissioner for information, Onigbanjo said this on Tuesday during a visit by the Lagos government delegation to the deceased’s residence.
TheCable had reported that a police officer attached to Ajiwe station in the Ajah area of Lagos shot at a vehicle conveying Raheem and her family on Christmas Day.
Speaking during the visit, Onigbanjo said he will lead the prosecution to “show the seriousness the government attaches to this matter”.
