Chile defeated Portugal 3-0 on penalties in the first semi-final match of the FIFA Confederations Cup on Wednesday.
The South American and European champions could not be separated after 90 minutes as neither side was able to find the back of the net.
Chile were nothing short of sublime in the second half of extra-time. The onus appeared to fall on Cristiano Ronaldo and Alexis Sanchez to do the magic for either side.
But it was Claudio Bravo who saved three penalties and put Chile into the final of the Confederations Cup.

Bravo saved Quaresma, Moutinho and Nani’s spot kicks to earn his side a final showdown against the winner of the game between Germany and Mexico.
This is Chile’s first appearance at the FIFA Confederations Cup.
