The All Progressives Congress (APC) secured 835 votes ahead of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Osun state governorship rerun election.
The results of all the seven polling units across the four local government areas where the exercise took place have been announced and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is set to make a pronouncement.
From the announcement at the collation center, APC polled 1,160 votes in the rerun while PDP secured with 325 votes, leaving a margin of 835.
In Saturday’s election which was declared inconclusive, Ademola Adeleke of the PDP led Isiaka Oyetola, his APC rival with 325 votes.

While the PDP secured 254,699 votes in the exercise APC had 254,345 votes.
A combination of Saturday’s exercise and the rerun puts APC ahead with 255,505 votes while PDP, 255,024 votes.
Joseph Fuwape, returning officer of the election, is set to announce the winner of the election.
