Appeal court nullifies order which replaced Jegede

The appeal court has nullified the order, which replaced Eyitayo Jegede, candidate of the Ahmed Makarfi faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo state, with Jimoh Ibrahim of the Ali Modu Sheriff faction.

Okon Abang, justice of the federal high court, Abuja, gave the order on October 14.

Citing the ruling, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced Ibrahim as the flagbearer of the PDP in the November 26 poll.
