Police block BBOG protesters from Aso Rock

‎Police officers have stopped Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) campaigners from gaining entrance to the presidential villa in Abuja.

‎The protesters had set out from the Unity Fountain in Abuja around 10:30am, but met a wall of police officers on the road leading to the villa.

This development is reminiscent of the Goodluck Jonathan era when the campaigners were denied access to the villa.

This is the third time that the group will be visiting the villa under President Muhammadu Buhari.

The first was in July, when they were well recieved, second in November, when they were initially prevented from seeing the president, but ended up meeting him after insisting.

Journalists were ordered out of that meeting.

  1. What are they looking for in the villa? They can do their protest in Abuja and across the country including Chibok to sensitize the people. I have said it before that Oby has a sinister intention for Nigeria – she is an agent working for foreigners. Very few people understand that this woman worked for OSF – google it and find out what that organisation does around the world! Colour revolution anyone?
