A bomb has exploded in the Hotoro area of Kano, a resident of the city informed TheCable.
The blast, which occurred at about 8pm at a Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) filling station, resulted in the death of seven people.
“Actually the bomb explosion occurred at a median station close to the bypass, exactly opposite where one of the previous explosions took place,” the resident said.
“We were in the house when we just heard the blast around 8pm. I don’t have the casualty figure or any information. We are just hearing sounds of siren going obviously to the scene.”
