President Muhammadu Buhari arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja around 5:30pm on Sunday, after spending 13 days in the United Kingdom.
Buhari left the country on June 6, for a 10-day vacation, during which he was expected to see his doctors for an ear infection.
He was due to be back on Thursday but Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo said the president decided to extend his trip by four days.
“The president will be back on Sunday. I spoke with him yesterday evening and I think it is just the best that he takes the weekend off. He will certainly be back on Sunday,” Osinbajo had told state house correspondents.
