The Super Eagles of Nigeria have crashed out of the CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) in the group stage after suffering a lone goal defeat to the Syli Stars of Guinea.
Ibrahima Sankhon scored the only goal of the encounter on the stroke of half time, ensuring that the Guineans moved up the table onto second place with five points, while Tunisia ascended to the top of the log with an emphatic 5-0 victory Niger Republic.
It was a lacklustre performance in the first half of the game by the Super Eagles, and all efforts by second-half substitutes Chisom Chikatara and Bright Onyedikachi to force the equaliser proved abortive.
