Falconets lose but Oshoala is best player

The Super Falconets of Nigeria have lost – as they did in 2010 – the FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup to Germany.

Only that this time, the Peter Dedevbo’s girls lost by a solitary goal scored by Lena Peterman in the 98th minute.

The Nigerians, though, would take scant consolation in seeing team star Asisat Oshoala emerge the winner of both the Adidas Golden Ball and Adidas Golden Boot awards.
