President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with the presidential hopefuls of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the state house, Abuja.
TheCable understands that all the aspirants are present at the villa for the meeting.
The president returned from an ECOWAS extraordinary summit in Ghana a few hours ago.
The meeting with the presidential hopefuls is ahead of the party’s convention slated for Monday.

The agenda would, among other things, centre on the choice of a consensus candidate.
John Oyegun, chairman of the screening panel, had on Friday said 99 percent of the presidential hopefuls are in support of consensus.
The presidential hopefuls at the meeting are Bola Tinubu, former Lagos governor; Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; Rotimi Amaechi, minister of transportation; Ahmad Lawan, senate president; Yahaya Bello, governor of Kogi; Kayode Fayemi, governor of Ekiti, and Emeka Nwajiuba, former minister of state for education.

Others are Ogbonnaya Onu, former minister of science and technology; Ibikunle Amosun, former governor of Ogun; David Umahi, governor of Ebonyi, Muhammad Badaru, governor of Jigawa; Godswill Akpabio, former governor of Akwa Ibom; and Tein Jack-Rich, an oil magnate.
