Gombe bombed on New Year’s Eve

A bomb has gone off at 301 Mammy Market, situated  inside the only military barracks in Gombe, Gombe state.

A security source who confirmed the blast to TheCable, said an unknown number of people were killed in the incident, which occurred a few minutes after 8pm.

When contacted, Fwaje Atajiri, the police spokesman in the state, said he did not have any information in that regard because he was on holiday.
