This will be Tinubu’s first media chat since his assumption of office on May 29, 2023.

During the media chat, Tinubu will answer questions from a panel of journalists on national issues pertaining to his economic policies, security, and other issues.

The tradition of presidential media chat started during the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Successive administrations under Umaru Musa Yar’Adua and Goodluck Jonathan continued the trend.

However, under the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari, the momentum of the presidential media chat diminished.
