TheCable has viewed a video detailing how suspected militants buried a girl alive, although there are now credible reports that it is an old video shot in Somalia.
The beginning of the video shows the girl, covered in a flowing hijab with legs tied together, being led to an already-dug hollow grave by a fiery-looking man.
After hesitating for moments, the girl lowered herself into the grave, but jumped out of it again.
The men then tied her legs together, lowered her into the grave, blindfolded her with a black cloth, and heaped sand on her, leaving only her head above ground.

Dozens of men subsequently emerged from a distance to stone the protruding head of the girl, as blood gushed out.
They only stopped when her head, tilted towards an angle, went still.
TheCable earlier reported that it could not authenticate the origin of the video amid fears the victim could be one of the kidnapped girls.

But a man claimed on twitter that the video was made in Somalia.
Boko Haram typically makes videos of its activities, which they normally post on YouTube.
Its leader, Abubakar Shekau, only threatened to sell the kidnapped girls in his latest video claiming responsibility for the abductions over 200 girls from Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State.
The video, which was downloaded by TheCable, can no longer be found on YouTube.
