Efforts of President Goodluck Jonathan to get himself accredited at his ward in Otuoke, Bayelsa state, have proved abortive, as he was rejected by four different voter card readers.
After trying three different card leaders without luck, the president waited patiently for further directives from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Jonathan then had to undergo verification by a fourth card reader, which proved unsuccessful as well. He subsequently left the polling booth, saying he was sure the problem would be sorted out.
Meanwhile, Muhammadu Buhari, his main challenger, has been accredited at his polling unit in Katsina state.

The patient dog eats the fattest bone. It shall be well in due time.
This just shows that Nigeria is going in the right direction in term of transparency in this election. Thank God we have cards.
