‘Bring up fresh ideas’ — army HQ commander exhorts soldiers

Sanusi Dahiru, commander of army headquarters (AHQ) garrison, has asked soldiers under his command to improve on their individual performance by thinking outside the box. 

According to statement by Omale Ochagwuba, deputy director, army public relations, Dahiru said this in his maiden address to officers and soldiers after being appointed as the command 25 commander.

Dahiru, a major general, asked the soldiers to tap into the vision of Attahiru Ibrahim, chief of army staff (COAS), which is to “have a Nigerian Army that is Repositioned to Professionally Defeat all Adversaries in a joint Environment’’.

He advised soldiers to apply their professionalism in studying the capacity of sister organisations in other to improve their operational efficiency in a joint environment.

“The new Commander Major General Sanusi Dahiru directed Officers and Soldiers to bring up new ideas that will improve their individual performances and AHQ Gar in general by thinking outside the box instead of being routine in approach to issues,” the statement said.

Dahiru asked officers to be proactive in their duties and time conscious.
