Buhari and my late mother share a birthday, says Ghanaian president-elect

Nana Akufo-Addo, president-elect of Ghana, on Tuesday revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari shares the same birthday with his late mother.

Akufo-Addo said this after holding a private meeting with the Nigerian leader in Abuja.

He described his meeting with Buhari as fruitful, saying he used the opportunity to introduce himself formally to the president and wished him happy birthday.

“I came on a private visit to Lagos on Sunday to participate in the Future of Africa Awards and I thought it is proper that I take that opportunity to come to Abuja to pay my respect to the president,” he said.
