President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo would on Tuesday lead governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to Benin, Edo state capital, for the grand finale of the campaign of Godwin Obaseki, the party’s candidate for Saturday’s election.
Anselm Ojezua, APC chairman in Edo, disclosed this while speaking with journalists in Benin.
He said the rally would take place at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, in the ancient city, adding that Akinwumi Ambode, governor of Lagos, who is head of the national campaign council for the election, was already in the state.
“All logistics to ensure free movement of the visitors and party supporters across the state have also been perfected,” he said.

“Anytime APC is holding rally, there is always mass mobilisation.
“Once the people know that the president is coming this time around, our people will be so excited to receive him.”
NAN said the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium is wearing a new look ahead of the event.
