Buhari Confers National Honours on Umana, Udom

President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday conferred national honour on Umana Okon Umana, minister of Niger Delta Affairs.

Umana was conferred with the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) along with other prominent Nigerians.

Also, Udom Emmanuel, governor of Akwa Ibom state, among others received the Commander of the Order of the Niger, CON.

The National Honour adds to the collection of awards and recognitions given to the minister.

A total of 339 persons were nominated by the federal government to receive national honours.

The federal government announced the recipients of 2023 national awards on Sunday.
