President Muhammadu Buhari held separate meetings with Senate President Bukola Saraki and Yakubu Dogara, speaker of the house of representatives, on Monday.
Dogara arrived at the presidential villa in Abuja around 12pm, and went into the meeting, while Saraki got to the villa about thirty minutes later.
Immediately Dogara left, Saraki walked in to see the president. The meeting with Saraki is ongoing.
It is unclear why both men did not meet with the president at the same time.
