President Muhammadu Buhari has described as deceptive and ungodly, the allegations that his administration plans to Islamise Nigeria.
In a statement on Friday, the president said under no circumstances will he impose any religion or faith on any Nigerian.
He said similar allegations were made in the past “to stoke up religious division for political gains” but the accusers “failed woefully”.
“The President strongly affirms the oath he took before the Nigerian people to faithfully defend the Constitution of Nigeria,” read the statement which Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman, issued on behalf of Buhari.

“That Constitution guarantees freedom of worship for every Nigerian. It is this guarantee that enables all Nigerians to practise their faiths or religion without hindrance.
“President Buhari further affirms his commitment to freedom of religion and worship for all Nigerians, and that under no circumstance will any religion or faith be imposed on any Nigerian. It is dangerous, deceptive and ungodly to play politics with religion.”

We knw you will not impose any religion on Nigerians, and that’s why you protected Shiites and poor Christian farmers in the middle belt
The same way Jonathan protected the North East when Boko Haram controlled half of Local Governments in Borno State. The same way Obasanjo protected the people of Zaki Biyam in Venue state and If I in Bayelsa state
