`

Garba Shehu, spokesman of President Muhammadu Buhari, says his principal is “greatly pained” over the continued violence in various parts of the country.

He said this on Thursday while reacting to the fresh killings seven persons in Guma local government area of Benue.

In a statement, Shehu said the repeated acts of mass killings in the country and Benue state in particular, “point to the evil design of enemies of peace and unity.”

While warning Nigerians against playing into the hands of “the agents of disunity”, he quoted Buhari as saying these “agents” and their sponsors plan to turn Nigerians against one another.

  1. “The president reiterates that the government will not rest on its oars in its determination to fish out these barbarous mass murderers and their clandestine sponsors”.Garba Shehu, The Cable

He does not need to fish anyone out as they are not hiding, but well known to him. He is as well proudly serving as their official spokesman, asking for them to be accommodated by apportioning them land as Cattle Colonies.

    Crocodile Tears Indeed!!!!

  2. I wish being “greatly pained” could secure our country or restrain the hand of the wicked. I don’t think this administration understands the situation Nigeria is in at the moment. If not Garba Shehu will have a better narrative.
