President Muhammadu Buhari participated virtually in the federal executive council (FEC) meeting, which took place on Wednesday at the council chamber of the state house in Abuja, from his residence in Daura, Katsina state.
The president travelled to Daura last Friday on a private visit.
The meeting was presided over by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo.
Habiba Lawal, permanent secretary of the ecological fund office, stood in for Boss Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation, who is currently on self-isolation.

Some of the participants at the meeting were Ibrahim Gambari, chief of staff to the president; Rotimi Amaechi, minister of transportation; Lai Mohammed, minister of information and culture; Zainab Ahmed, minister of finance, budget and national planning; Adamu Adamu, minister of education; Babatunde Fashola, minister of works and housing, and Mohammed Bello, minister of the federal capital territory (FCT).
Others are Isa Ali Pantami, minister of communication, Timipre Sylva, minister of state for petroleum resources, Muhammad Dingyadi, minister of police affairs, and Bashir Magashi, defence minister.
