Buhari renews appointments of FRSC corps marshal, National Hospital CMD

President Muhammadu Buhari has renewed the appointments of six chief executive officers (CEOs) of federal agencies.

Buhari appointed two new CEOs and a senior special assistant.

The appointments of Boboye Olayemi, corps marshal; Jafaru Momoh, chief medical director (CMD) of National Hospital; Nwadinigwe Cajetan Uwatoronye, medical director of National Orthopedic Hospital; Eli Jidere Bala, director-general of Energy of Nigeria Commission; Mohammed Jibrin, director-general of National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI); and Mohammed Haruna, vice-chairman of National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure were renewed.

They will all serve in their respected offices for their second and final term of four years.

Ali Adamu was appointed provost of Federal College of Education (Technical), Gombe state, while Yaya Baba Adamu was appointed medical director of Federal Medical Centre, Nasarrawa state.

The duo will serve for an initial term of four years. Their appointments will take effect from May 25 and April 1 respectively.

Yahaya Lawal was appointed as senior special assistant to the president on foreign affairs and international relations.

His appointment will take effect from April 1.
