President Muhammadu Buhari did not deliver any speech after taking oath for another term on Wednesday.
Ibrahim Muhammad, acting chief justice of Nigeria, administered the oath of office on Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo at Eagle Square, Abuja.
Senate President Bukola Saraki; Yakubu Dogara, speaker of the house of representatives; Yakubu Gowon, former head of state, were among the dignitaries in attendance.
A copy of the programme seen by TheCable showed that the president was supposed to give his inaugural speech between 11am and 11:15am but no reason was given for the absence of the president’s speech at the programme.

This is the first time that a Nigerian president would skip his inaugural address after taking the oath of office.
In 2015, the president gave a direction of his government on inauguration day. He had ordered the relocation command control center of the military to the north-east, the hotbed of insurgency.
“I belong to everybody and I belong to nobody,” one of the lines in his 2015 inaugural address still resonates among Nigerians till date.

The APC is a confused party and they lack self confidence.
The are afraid of the outcome of the Judiciary Supreme Court declaration.
The President has nothing new to tell us in this inauguration. No programme of his next line of action- Clueless.
He has jetted out to OIC summit/meeting in Saudi Arabia.
So we are back to square one.
May God’s will be done and let Him do the battle for us .
Nigeria as a whole is confused. President Buhari has nothing to do with the problems we are facing today. I still believe in him as one of the best. Take it or leave it.
