Garba Shehu, senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity, says the government did not sponsor the US trip of the daughters of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Shehu said this on Twitter while responding to a question posed by a user, Adetutu Balogun.
Balogun had sought to know if the government sponsored the trip, as well as the purpose of their attendance at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Please let Nigerians forget this government of deceit and lies.Government that thrives on propaganda. Government that the officials are mediocres .Government that never accepts responsibility. Government that it’s leader will never accept that lleadership is about acceptance of responsibility. A president that rules by employing military propaganda to lead her citizenry. Government that will always invent one macinary to sustain her assumed credibility which she never has. Periodically there must be a scene cooked and served Nigerians to distract us from their failled policies. Let us look back from May 2015 it has been Saraki and Ekweremadu, Dogora, jubril, Security corruption etc. In all these we are not seeing any single result except radio and televion noise. Buhari after all is not a man of integrity as he claimed to be. He is a champion of hate,nepotism,tribalist,rreligious bigot and by all standard he is not qualified to be a president. A president tha cannot market Nigeria to the outside world rather he is busy marketing his family and islam and his family. We are all aware what OBJ did when he inherited a collapsed system in 1999,he market Nigeria, GEJ did that also through the effort of sound and qualified technocrats.Today the reverse is the case.Day by day Nigeria is demarketed. What a pity.

“Buhari’s daughters paid their way to the U.S”. When will the likes of Garba Sheu learn to keep quiet if there is nothing meaningful to say. Can Mr Sheu tell the whole world how much was paid by these daughters as air fare to and from U.S on presidential jet? How much was paid for them to lodge with Mr President and his wife? Not forgetting to include how much was paid to enter UN building (or wherever Mr President gave his address)?
Everything is O.k when it is Buhari but wastage of tax payer’s money when others did the same. How long will thou continue to talk with both sides of your mouth?
Buhari’s daughters have brought the country into disrepute by visiting the US when it was none of their business.
It is the job of everyday Nigerians to chase the likes of Buhari out of the country if he is truly corrupt.
