Bukola Abitoye leads NGO to celebrate Christmas at Ibadan Orphanage Home

December 2021 will remain unforgettable in the history of Jesus Kids Orphanage Ibadan as Olubukola Abitoye, Lagos based financial entrepreneur and chief executive of Digital Space Capital, stormed their compound to celebrate with the kids.

Abitoye, who is also the founder of Florence Modupe Foundation, a charity organisation, attended the Christmas outreach in the company of friends and members of the foundation adorned in a specially chosen attire for the ceremony.

The management of the orphanage led by Ololade Adamolekun received Abitoye and her entourage with dancing and joyful songs.

In her welcome address, Adamolekun described Abitoye as a friend of the orphanage who has always come around and also supported their activities in cash and kind over the years.

While responding, Abitoye described the children as a set of people dear to her heart as such she finds it a thing of joy to be of help to them and other children across the nation.

She said the scripture is clear on the relevance of children as contained in Psalms 127:3, which describes them as a heritage of the Lord, encouraging other well-meaning Nigerians to give to children and other downtrodden members of the society.

She donated items worth several millions of Naira to the foundation, including Back to school items, writing materials, clothing items, footwear, food items and toiletries.

According to Abitoye, 48 students of the orphanage are beneficiaries of the Florence Modupe Foundation scholarship scheme.
