The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Amaju Pinnick, president of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), as a member of the organising committee for the Africa Cup of Nations.
In a letter signed by Issa Hayatou, president of CAF, the continental body invited Pinnick to the opening ceremony of the 30th Africa Cup of Nations in Malabo on January 17, 2015.
Pinnick will also coordinate one of the four centres during the three-week, 16-nation tournament.
The next AFCON will take place in four Equatorial Guinea cities between January 17 and February 8, 2015.
