The four Nigerian teams participating in the African continental club competitions in the 2021/2022 season have now known their opponents.
The draws were announced by the Confederations of African Football (CAF) on Friday.
Akwa United, Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions, will face CR Belouizdad of Algeria in the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
The Promise Keepers, who won the NPFL for the first time earlier this month, will face the current champions of Algeria Ligue one for a place in the next round of the competition.

Rivers United, on the other hand, were drawn against Tanzania’s Young Africans.

In the CAF Confederation Cup, Bayelsa United will kick off their maiden continental campaign against AS Ashanti Golden Boys of Guinea.
The Yenagoa Boys, who booked their ticket after defeating Nassarawa United on penalties, will be hosting the Guinean club at the Samson Siasia stadium.

The first legs of the matches will hold between September 10 and 12, while the second legs are scheduled for the following weekend.
Meanwhile, Enyimba FC have been given a bye into the next round where they will face either the winner of the game between Dambars FC of Senegal and Wakriya Athletic Club of Guinea.
