The four Nigerian teams participating in the African continental club competitions in the 2023/2024 season have now known their opponents.
The draws were announced by the Confederations of African Football (CAF) on Thursday.
Enugu Rangers, Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions, will face Comoros’s US Zilimadjou in the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
The Flying Antelopes, who won the 2023/24 NPFL campaign, will battle the Libyan club for a place in the next round of the competition.

The tie winners will play the victor of St Louis of Seychelles and Angola’s GDSE clash for a slot in the group stages.

Remo Stars, another Nigerian club, were drawn against Morocco’s ASFAR FC.
The winner of the encounter will face either South Sudan’s Al Merreikh FC or the winner of the Libyan Premier League for a slot in the competition’s group stages.

In the CAF Confederation Cup, El-Kanemi Warriors will begin its first continental football in a while against Dadje FC of the Benin Republic, while Enyimba are seeded but exempted from the first round of the qualifiers.
The Peoples Elephant will face the winner of the clash between Haifa FC of Guinea and Burkina Faso’s Rahimo in the final round for a place in the group stages.
The first legs of the matches will be held between August 16 and 18, while the second legs are scheduled for the following weekend.
